Our system: A plumbing licence alone does not cover gas. We hold a separate Gas Work Authorisation (GA-00000), and if a gas fitter does not mention a compliance certificate, that is a serious red flag.

I can smell gas, what do I do right now?

Get everyone outside, do not touch any light or power switch, turn off the gas at the meter if you can reach it safely, and call us from outside. If anyone feels unwell, call 000.

Does a plumber's licence already cover gas?

No, and this is the one most people do not know. Gas fitting requires a separate Gas Work Authorisation on top of a plumbing licence. We hold both, and you should always check the gas ticket specifically.

What is a gas compliance certificate, and do I get one?

It is the legally required document certifying the gas work was done safely and to standard. Every legitimate gas job must produce one. We supply it and explain it at handover.
